All-rounder Washington Sundar described Suryakumar Yadav as a ‘big-hearted’ captain. he/she said that it was because of his/her amazing ability to take risks that India managed to defeat Sri Lanka in the third and final T20.

Suryakumar made some interesting changes in the last moments of Sri Lanka’s innings in the match played on Tuesday. When Sri Lanka needed 12 runs in the last two overs in front of the target of 138 runs, he/she handed the ball to Rinku Singh. he/she took two wickets for three runs. After this, Suryakumar himself came to bowl the last over and tied the match by taking two wickets.

In the super over, Sri Lanka lost two wickets in just four balls. India achieved the target of three runs with the help of Suryakumar’s four on the very first ball and clean swept the series. Sundar said after the match, “Honestly, this is his/her amazing. This is the amazing ability of his/her leadership because when 12 runs were needed from 12 balls to win, he/she handed the ball to Rinku Singh and that too when Kusal Perera was batting. Rinku dismissed him/her and Surya himself came to bowl the last over. he/she made us win the match. “
