The accused in the firing case at Salman’s house claims that the jail doctor demanded bribe for treatment

An accused in the shootout incident outside Salman Khan’s building on Wednesday alleged that a jail doctor demanded money to treat his/her broken finger. Harpal Singh, arrested in April for his/her alleged role in the shootout incident, made the allegation before Judge BD Shelke when he/she was produced before the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) special court in Mumbai through video link.The court directed the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) of Taloja jail, where Singh is lodged, to submit a report.The court also asked the jail authorities to provide necessary medical treatment to the accused.

Lawrence Bishnoi gang is behind the attack

On the morning of April 14, two men on a motorcycle fired five rounds outside Salman’s residence Galaxy Apartments in Bandra. The police had claimed that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was behind the attack. So far six people have been arrested in this case.

For the last eight months, one finger of the accused’s right hand has been injured

Singh told the court on Wednesday that a finger on his/her right hand has been injured for the past eight months. he/she alleged that the CMO demanded Rs 10,000 to send him/her to a hospital. The court has sought a report in the matter by October 7.

Accused Anuj Thapan committed suicide in jail

Let us tell you that Anuj Thapan, the accused in the same firing case, committed suicide, after which the CID took over the investigation of the case. According to Mumbai Police, the accused and arms supplier Anuj Thapan committed suicide by hanging himself. It was told that Anuj stuck a piece of sheet in the toilet window of his/her lockup and hanged himself by standing on a bucket. The report said that when Anuj was not seen in the CCTV installed in the lockup for a long time, the guard on duty went to the lockup and found him/her unconscious there. Immediately after this, he/she was hurriedly admitted to the nearby GT Hospital, where he/she died during the treatment of the doctor.
