The ability to hit target will be wonderful, the Air Force will get the next year’s next generation version

Bengaluru: The Indian Air Force will get BrahMos NG (Next Generation) by the end of next year. Which the Air Force will use in its Sukhoi-30 fighter jet. Talking to NBT, Director General of BrahMos J.K. R. Joshi said that we are building another unit, NG version of BrahMos missile will be delivered in Lucknow and from there. There is also a trial in Sukhoi-30. he/she said that the work on it is in the advance stage. The NG version is 30 % smaller and thin from the BrahMos missile near the Air Force. It will be fatal like the same missile but due to low size, more missiles will be able to carry aircraft at once. Fighter will also be able to carry it in the jet wing. In fact, when they carry a missile in a ship, the possibility of hitting the target from that missile will increase in a position to be more missile. The NG version is small, if low in weight, you can take more missiles simultaneously and launch those missiles simultaneously on different targets.

The NG version will increase the ability to hit several targets and it will serve as a force multipleer for defense forces. BrahMos DG said that by the end of 2026, we will be able to give it to the Air Force by completing all the trials. he/she said that nowadays artificial intelligence can reduce the trial numbers. But some fixed number will have to be tried so that it can be made reliable. Some countries have also shown interest regarding the NG version of BrahMos.

Joshi said that first we will meet the need of India and then see exports. Many countries have shown interest, a meeting with many countries in Aero India. Then there will be a government to government meeting and then the final will be.
