Terrorists and gangsters are spoiling the atmosphere of the country by sitting abroad, real passports are easily available in fake names.

New Delhi: From terrorists to gangsters involved in anti-national activities, they are spoiling the atmosphere of the country by sitting abroad. Even small-time criminals are carrying out murders and firings from across the seven seas. Extortion calls worth crores of rupees are coming to businessmen from foreign countries. Indian security agencies and police of various states are looking helpless in front of all this. After all, how do wanted terrorists, gangsters and small-time criminals succeed in escaping abroad in serious cases? The first process to flee abroad is to get a passport made. It is not easy for the common man even today. A Delhi Police officer says that the work of passport verification in the capital is handled by a special branch. Even if all the documents are correct, the policeman doing the verification demands Rs 1000 to 2000. As if this is his/her fee. If there is any deficiency in the documents, then this amount is increased accordingly. They also take advantage of the instant processing of passport, because under this the verification happens later. Fake documents were prepared for dreaded gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi, nephew Sachin Bishnoi and gangster Rohit Godara. The real passports of all three were made from the regional office of Delhi in fake names. One and a half lakh rupees were given for one passport.

absconding by taking donkey route
Wanted gangsters or miscreants are successful in flying from airports of other states of the country by making passports in fake names. An expenditure of around Rs 10 lakh has been reported for this. There are many gangs which are even providing fake visas. They are sent to Canada and Gulf countries by taking student visa or visitor visa. From there they take the donkey route (through forest or road) and enter America or other European countries. Ecuador, Bolivia and Guyana give easy visas to Indians. Brazil and Venezuela also offer tourist visas. The route depends on the agent, the gang to which he/she has links, will send through the same route.

They also fly from Nepal
Many wanted criminals of the country are taking advantage of the open border between India and Nepal. Enter Nepal by road. From Kathmandu airport they fly to Dubai, from where they fly to other countries. Police officers say that many such gangs are active, who work to arrange flights from Nepal to other countries. They charge Rs 15 lakh for this. After paying this amount, the person flying is given VVIP treatment, after which he/she is able to board the flight directly without any scrutiny. In this way many Indian wanted criminals have succeeded in escaping abroad. Last year it was revealed that 368 gangsters and terrorists of India had fled abroad through fake passports.
