New Delhi: 144 passengers aboard Air India coming from Phuket, Thailand to Delhi had to remain stranded in Phuket for about three days due to several irregularities. This flight number AI-377 was to take off from Phuket to Delhi Airport on the evening of 16 November. But first there was some technical fault in the aircraft, then the duty time of the pilot and crew flying the plane was over. Due to this, all the passengers remained stranded in Thailand on the night of 16th November. The next day too, when the flight took off with the passengers, then after about two and a half hours the flight had to land back in Thailand, the reason was that the plane was in trouble again. Any technical glitch. Even till the time of writing this news, all the passengers stranded on this flight have not been able to come to India. 35 passengers are still stranded in Thailand. However, Air India’s argument in this matter is that we regret the inconvenience caused to the passengers due to the delay of the flight from Phuket to Delhi on 16 November.

Passengers sent on alternative flights

This flight was canceled due to technical fault. By the way, the staff made every possible effort to reduce the problems of the passengers. In which all kinds of assistance including hotel stay and food arrangements were provided. Some passengers were also sent on alternative flights. Air India says that 109 passengers of this flight have been brought to India. 35 passengers will also arrive here soon.

Passenger unaware of technical glitch

In the case, it was told that this flight was to come from Phuket to Delhi on the night of 16th November. Initially, for 6 hours the passengers were not informed that there was a technical fault in the plane. Then the passengers were made to board the plane. But after an hour they were taken off again. When the reason was found out, it was told that the pilot’s duty hours were coming to an end.

…then had to make an emergency landing

The flight was taken off again the next day. But after being in the air for about two and a half hours, the flight had to make an emergency landing. After this, passengers are being brought to Delhi somehow by other flights. 35 passengers stranded there will also be brought to Delhi in a day or two. Expressing their anger on social media, passengers blamed the negligence of Air India management for this.
