Team India’s preparations ruined, 50 over match will be played on the second day

New Delhi. The wishes of the Indian cricket team were dashed. Team India was to play a two-day practice match from Saturday before the second Test against Australia. The first day’s play at Manuka Oval in Canberra was washed out due to rain. Even the toss could not take place in the match due to continuous rain. Now only one day’s play is left in this match. On the second and last day i.e. Sunday, both the teams will get to play 50-50 overs. This was done because not a single ball could be bowled on the first day due to rain. In such a situation, both the teams have agreed to play in ODI format on the last day.

The second Test match of the 5-match series between India and Australia will be played in Adelaide from 6 December. This test will be done with pink ball. Before this test match, it was a good opportunity for India to test its preparations in the practice match. Practice matches are also being played day and night. But now it has to be seen how the role of rain plays on the second day. Rohit Sharma will be seen playing for the first time on the current tour. Jasprit Bumrah captained the team in the first match.

Indian team wins 3 day night test
The Indian team is ahead 1-0 in the 5-match test series. India defeated host Australia by 295 runs in the first Test of the series played at Optus Stadium in Perth. The Indian team has played 4 day-night tests so far, in which it has won 3 and lost one. Australia defeated India by 8 wickets in the day-night test match played in Adelaide. Now India has a chance to avenge that defeat.
