The second test match of the series will be played in Adelaide from 6 December. This test will be played day and night with pink ball. However, the captain of the Indian team will change in the second Test played with pink ball. Rohit Sharma will return as captain in this test. Jasprit Bumrah took command of Team India in the absence of Rohit in the first Test match. After paternity leave, Rohit recently reached Australia where he/she has started practicing with the team.

Host Australia has played 12 Tests so far where it has lost only one.

In the first Test played in Perth, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli played century innings for India, while KL Rahul played an important role in India’s victory by scoring a half-century.
