Team India won the match in Australia… still the umpire kept ordering bowling

New Delhi. Team India continues to win in Australia. The Indian team, which started with a win in the first Test match of the series played in Perth, has also won the practice match. India defeated Australia Prime Minister’s XI by 6 wickets in a rain-affected match. An incident happened in this match which left all the members of the support staff including Indian team captain Rohit Sharma shocked. Team India won the match, yet the umpire kept on bowling. Seeing this scene, there was panic in the Indian camp. Rohit Sharma also started laughing with his/her head down. People are curious to know why the umpire continued the match even after winning the match.

This was a practice match between India and Australia Prime Minister’s XI (IND vs PMXI). In which both the teams had to bat 46-46 overs. PM 11 had set a target of 241 runs for India. Since it was a practice match, the umpire decided to continue the match. Therefore the Indian team batted the entire 46 overs. Actually, India had registered victory in the 43rd over itself.

Rohit Sharma came in place of Virat Kohli
In the match against Australia PM XI, Rohit Sharma came to bat at number four for India. Usually Virat Kohli bats at this place but in this match Hitman decided to field in place of Kohli. However, Rohit could not succeed at this number and was out after scoring 3 runs in 11 balls. Rohit needed practice in this match but he/she could not capitalize on the opportunity. Rohit could not play in the first Test played in Perth.

Gill scored a half century in the return match
Shubman Gill could not play the first test match due to a thumb injury. he/she recovered from injury and made a brilliant comeback in the practice match. Gill played an innings of 50 runs in 62 balls. he/she retired hurt. Apart from this, opener Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 45 runs while Nitish Reddy and Washington Sundar scored 42-42 runs. Ravindra Jadeja returned to the pavilion after scoring 27 runs. Fast bowler Harshit Rana left a mark in bowling. Harshit took maximum 4 wickets.
