New Delhi. Suryakumar Yadav and Gautam Gambhir’s Team India has made a great start by clean sweeping the three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka (India Vs Sri Lanka). On the slow wicket, Team India bet on spinner Washington Sundar to bowl the super over, who did not give Sri Lanka a chance to play the full 6 balls by dismissing Kusal Perera on the third ball and Pathum Nisanka on the fourth ball. Team India scored the 3 runs needed for victory with the help of SKY’s four on the first ball itself and completed the formality of 3-0 victory.

This victory will be really comforting for Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja, who bid farewell to this format after becoming champions in the T20 World Cup 2024. The important thing that has emerged in the victories of the Indian team so far this year is that both the young and experienced players of the team have contributed equally to the performance and in almost every match a new player has become a hero.
