Jasprit Bumrah has reached Bangalore to assess the injury under the supervision of the medical team of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). If his/her injury is not pushed, then Bumrah may be out of the Champions Trophy.

New Delhi. India’s lead fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has reached Bangalore to assess the injury under the supervision of the Medical Team of Cricket Control Board of Cricket in India (BCCI). The 31 -year -old fast bowler will have to undergo a scan and fitness test at the National Cricket Academy (NCA). If his/her injury is not pushed, then Bumrah may be out of the Champions Trophy.

The Times of India had reported in a report that Bumrah was included in the team of India for the Champions Trophy tournament to be held later this month. However, the decision to join his/her team will depend on the fitness test in NCA this week. Let us know that Bumrah is the leading fast bowler of India and if he/she is not well then Team India may have to play in the Champions Trophy without him/her.

Bumrah is expected to stay in Bengaluru for at least two to three days, where the NCA’s medical team will closely monitor their situation. Recently he/she was also awarded the International Cricketer of the Year 2024 Award.
