Best Teachers in India 2024 List: The 50 best school teachers of India will be awarded the National Teacher Award. This award will be given by the Ministry of Education on September 5, 2024 teacher’s Day The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education has selected 50 teachers from across the country. These teachers will be honored for their hard work, dedication and their invaluable contribution in the field of education.

This award is given to honour those teachers who through their commitment and dedication have not only improved the quality of school education but also enriched the lives of their students. Here is the list of teachers who are going to be honoured on Teachers’ Day.

The teachers who received the National Teacher Award include 34 men, 16 women, 2 Divyangs and 1 teacher working with CWSN. These teachers are from 28 states, 3 union territories and 6 organizations.

The Department of School Education and Literacy, Ministry of Education, organises a national level function on Teachers’ Day (5 September) every year. In this function, National Awards are given to the best teachers of the country.

Teachers are selected through a rigorous, transparent and online three-stage selection process that evaluates teachers’ work, their contribution and their impact on their students.

A total of 82 teachers will be awarded the National Teacher Award this year. These include 50 teachers from school education, 16 teachers from the Higher Education Department and 16 teachers from the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship. The award ceremony will be held on September 5, 2024 at 4:15 pm at Vigyan Bhavan. Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will be the chief guest on the occasion.
