New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday responded to the debate on the vote of thanks in the Lok Sabha. During this time, he/she for criticizing the former leadership, RK published in TOI. Gave the example of a famous cartoon of Laxman. In this cartoon, an airplane depicting the 21st century ambitions was shown on a wooden car, which the workers were pushing. PM Modi mentioned any cartoon?

Prime Minister Modi said that there was a PM who used to talk about the 21st century consecutive century, at that time RK Laxman made a very interesting cartoon. That cartoon was fun at that time, but later came true. The cartoon was quite interesting. It featured an airplane with the pilot. Now, I don’t know why he/she chose a pilot. Some passengers were sitting there and the airplane was placed on a cart, which the workers were pushing, on which the 21st century was written. At that time this cartoon looked like a joke, but finally it proved to be true. The cartoon was an example of how the Prime Minister’s words were ‘Hawa Hawaii’ and away from reality.

However, in political circles it is considered a sarcasm on former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi, who advocated modernization of India in the 1980s. Laxman had shown through his/her cartoons that at that time the benefit of technological development could reach the general public in a limited form.

We have been 40-50 years late in doing the work that was to be done decades ago: PM

PM Modi further said that ‘Today when I look back in the last ten years, I have deep pain. We have delayed 40-50 years to do the work that should have been done decades ago. When people gave us a chance to serve, we focused on young aspirations, creating more opportunities and opening many areas. As a result, the youth of India are now demonstrating their ability on the global platform.

Today income tax exemption increased to Rs 12 lakh: Modi

he/she said that before 2014, bomb blasts and firing made it difficult for citizens to live. We gradually worked towards reconstruction of those affected areas. The income tax exemption limit was only two lakhs in 2013-14, but today it has been increased to Rs 12 lakh, which will provide relief in tax. We have set up 10,000 tinkering labs in schools and today the children of these labs are surprising everyone with their robotics innovations. In this budget, a provision of 50,000 new tinkering lab has been made to further increase innovation and creativity among students.

We are working keeping in mind the future of youth: PM

PM Modi said, we are continuously working keeping in mind the future of the youth. But there are some parties that are cheating the youth. They promise allowance at the time of elections, but do not fulfill those promises. These parties are putting ‘disaster’ on the future of the youth. In Haryana, the country has seen how we work. We promised jobs and the youth got jobs as soon as the government was formed. The result of what we did is that we registered a spectacular victory in Haryana for the third time. In Maharashtra too, we got historical results and with the blessings of the people we managed to win the election.

Today some people are openly speaking the language of urban Naxalites: PM Modi

PM Modi said that it is unfortunate that today some people are openly speaking the language of urban Naxalites, challenging the Indian state and announcing the fight against it. Those who speak this language neither understand the constitution nor the unity of the country. Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh were denied their constitutional rights for seven decades. It was injustice not only with the constitution, but also to the people of these areas. We live with the spirit of the Constitution, and therefore we make strong decisions. Our constitution does not give the right to discrimination. Those who live by keeping the constitution in their pockets do not know what kind of difficulties you made Muslim women to live.
