Taiwan’s Ministry of National Defense (MND) on Friday reported an increase in Chinese military activity around the island, detecting more than 30 PLA ​​aircraft and 8 PLAN ships in the vicinity of Taiwan.

“As of 6am today (UTC+8), 33 PLA aircraft and 8 PLAN ships operating in the vicinity of Taiwan were detected. 21 aircraft crossed the median line and entered Taiwan’s northern, southwestern, and eastern ADIZ. We have monitored the situation and responded accordingly.”
