Taiwan detects 5 Chinese aircraft and 6 plan ships




The National Defense Ministry of Taiwan (MND) increased the Chinese military activity near its region, stating that the five People’s Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft and six People’s Liberation Army Navy (Plan) ships were found around the island.

The ministry also confirmed that three out of five aircraft crossed the average line of Taiwan Strait and entered the South -West Air Defense Identification Area (ADIZ) of the island nation.

In its X post, MND reported, “PLA aircraft around Taiwan and 5 trimmed of 6 plan ships were detected till 6 am (UTC +8) today. 3 out of 5 trimmed crossed the middle line and entered the south -western etc. of Taiwan. We have monitored the situation and replied accordingly. ,

Earlier on Sunday, Taiwan’s National Defense Ministry (MND) reported that 14 Chinese Peoples Liberation Army (PLA) aircraft and 6 People’s Liberation Army Navy (Plan) ships were discovered as 6 pm around Taiwan (UTC +8).

Nine of these aircraft crossed the Madhyika line and entered the northern and south -western air defense identity area (ADIZ) of the nation.

In recent weeks, China had increased its ability to carry amphibious attacks on the beaches of Taiwan with new naval equipment. This included an advanced landing helicopter assault (LHA) vessel, unique in the world, and a formal launch of the large -scale production of Floating Bridge Dock for helping ship off during beach landing.

Taiwan’s China struggle remained a long-time geopolitical issue focused on the sovereignty of Taiwan. While Taiwan served as a real independent state with his/her government, military and economy, Beijing considered it a breakway province under a “a China” policy.
