But now the actress has told that she did not get much money for this film. She said, ‘he/she feels that he/she is doing a favor…’ Rajkumar Hirani’s film ‘Dinky’ was released in the year 2023. The actress said in an interview to Screen, ‘The funny thing is that people think that I do films like ‘Judwaa’ or ‘Dinky’ for money, that I get paid a lot. But no, it’s the opposite – I get paid more for films in which I am in the lead role, like ‘Haseen Dilruba’. And other films don’t pay me much, because they think they are doing me a favor by taking me in that kind of film. They feel, ‘There is already a big hero, why do we need someone else for him/her?’ I fight these notions every day.

he/she also said that it is the hero who decides who will be the heroine. Taapsee said, ‘Now even the audience knows that it is the hero who decides who will be the heroine in most of his/her films, unless you have a very big, super successful director who has his/her own audience. Then the director will take the decision no matter what.

Talking about Taapsee’s next films, she will be seen in Gandhari. This film will be released on OTT platform Netflix. Its release date has not been announced yet.
