There are still seven weeks left for the tournament to start. In such a situation, it is too early to comment on whether the tournament will be shifted from Bangladesh or not.

According to the website ‘Cricinfo’, the ICC has started thinking about an alternate host. India, UAE and Sri Lanka are the options for this. India and Sri Lanka have sufficient resources and if any of these two get the opportunity, the event will be organized easily. UAE will have to be informed a little earlier so that it can prepare.

India can be the first option against Sri Lanka. The reason for this is that Sri Lanka receives more rainfall in October. On the other hand, the rainy season in India ends on 15 September. For this reason, organizing the Women’s T20 World Cup in India can be a better decision.
