T20 World cup 2024: Bangladesh showed amazing game, easily defeated the World Cup winning team

In this match, Bangladesh defeated the former champion team of T20 World Cup 2014, Sri Lanka, and registered a spectacular victory by 2 wickets. Bangladesh won the toss in this match and decided to bowl first. Which proved to be effective for them. Batting first, Sri Lanka’s team could score 124 runs in 20 overs. Bangladesh chased the target of 125 runs very easily. They won with 6 balls remaining.

Sri Lanka came to bat first and Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis came to open the innings. Nissanka played a brilliant innings of 47 runs. Kusal Mendis scored 10 runs.
