Suryakumar Yadav may return to the Test team, revealed in the report


New Delhi. A lot has changed in the Indian cricket team after the ICC T20 World Cup victory. New coach Gautam Gambhir replaced Rahul Dravid and a new era began. Rohit Sharma announced his/her retirement from the T20 format and Suryakumar Yadav was made the captain of the team in place of Hardik Pandya. Now there is news of his/her return to the Test team. It is being told that Suryakumar Yadav can be given a place in the team in the home series against Bangladesh and New Zealand.

According to the news of Indian Express, T20 team captain Suryakumar Yadav is going to return to the Test team. India has to play a Test series against Bangladesh and New Zealand at home. The selectors can give Suryakumar Yadav a chance in the series. This series will be played against Bangladesh from next month. While the three-match Test series against New Zealand will start from October 16.

Suryakumar Yadav is playing for Mumbai in the Buchi Babu tournament. Mumbai has been placed in Group C and Sarfaraz Khan has been given the captaincy. Surya would like to strengthen his/her preparation in this first class match played in a four-day format. Immediately after this, he/she will also be seen playing in the Duleef Trophy. The tournament will start from September 5.

Suryakumar will return to Test

Suryakumar Yadav’s Test debut was against Australia in the year 2023. The Indian team won this match by an innings and 132 runs. In the first innings of this match, Suryakumar Yadav was out after scoring just 8 runs while in the second innings the Indian team did not need to bat.
