Supreme Court New Flag: Supreme Court gets new flag and emblem, know what is its specialty

New Delhi: The Supreme Court of India has got a new flag. The new flag was unveiled on the 75th anniversary of the Supreme Court. The new flag of the Supreme Court has ‘Yato Dharmasya Tato Jaya’ written on it in Sanskrit language. Which means ‘Where there is Dharma, there is victory.’ President Draupadi Murmu unveiled the new flag and emblem on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the Supreme Court.

What is special about the new flag of the Supreme Court?

This new flag of the Supreme Court has the Sanskrit shloka ‘Yato Dharmastato Jayah’ written on it, which means where there is Dharma, there will be victory. This flag has the Ashoka Chakra at the top, the Supreme Court building in the middle and the Constitution book at the bottom. This new flag and symbol will also be used in cross table flags, single table flags, car flags, pole flags and wooden frames.

The President addressed the judges

On this occasion, President Draupadi Murmu said on Sunday that efforts need to be made to change the ‘culture of adjournment’ in the courts to ensure speedy justice. Addressing the closing ceremony of the two-day national conference of the district judiciary, she said that pending cases in the courts is a big challenge for all of us.

Supreme Court’s flag and emblem released

Murmu said that it is the responsibility of all the judges of the country to protect justice. The stress level of common people increases in the court environment. She also suggested a study on this subject. She also expressed happiness over the increase in the number of women judicial officers. Chief Justice D.Y. Chandrachud and Union Minister of State for Law and Justice (Independent Charge) Arjun Ram Meghwal also attended the event. President Murmu also released the flag and logo of the Supreme Court during the event held at Bharat Mandapam.
