Supreme Court NEET: The case of NEET paper leak is not over yet! Latest hearing in Supreme Court, court gave this order

Supreme Court NEET The high-level committee has been given two weeks to report on the reforms in UG. This committee was formed by the Central Government after the controversies that arose in the NEET examination. The committee will soon submit its report and the bench of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud, Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice Manoj Mishra has extended the deadline for submitting the report. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta had requested the Supreme Court that the expert panel’s report is almost ready, but some more time is needed to finalize it.
The Supreme Court said in its order, ‘The committee will submit its report to the Union Education Ministry by September 30. The Education Ministry will take a decision on the recommendations of the committee within a month of receiving the report.

Let us tell you that there were many allegations like NEET UG 2024 paper leak, wrong giving of marks and questioning the credibility of the examination. Several petitions were filed in the Supreme Court demanding cancellation of the NEET 2024 exam, re-conduct of the exam and an investigation into the alleged irregularities in the conduct of the exam.

Not accepting the plea seeking re-conduct of the NEET exam, the Supreme Court in its detailed order asked the expert panel to come up with a standard operating procedure for registration, change of exam centres, sealing of OMR sheets and other procedures related to the conduct of the exam. Instructions were given to prepare procedure (SOP).

This seven-member high-level committee is working under the chairmanship of Dr. K. Radhakrishnan, former Chairman of ISRO and Chairman of the Board of Governors of IIT Kanpur. This committee is expected to suggest effective measures to conduct smooth, transparent and fair examinations on behalf of the National Testing Agency (NTA).
