The Gautam Budh Nagar district administration has sealed the office of real estate company Supertech Group in Noida over dues. While giving this information on Wednesday, officials said that the process of sealing the office started on Tuesday afternoon under the supervision of Dadri Tehsildar. On the other hand, the Supertech Group has condemned the action of the district administration. Describing the administration’s action as illegal, the builder group has told the office of Supertech Limited while the recovery is to be done from Supertech Township.
Let us tell you that the district administration had recently started the process of recovering dues from the Supertech Township unit of the real estate group. The action was initiated against the recovery certificate issued by the UP Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). Confirming the development, Additional District Magistrate (Finance/Revenue) Vandita Srivastava said, “Yes, the office has been sealed.”
The company said the action is illegal
A company official said, “The illegal action is going to cause a lot of trouble to the home buyers. The customers have to visit these offices for their various needs. But due to the sealing, the customers will be the most upset. The action of the district administration in sealing the offices is illegal as the company is under the corporate insolvency process initiated by the NCLT.
Company will appeal
“The action of the district administration in sealing the offices including the interim resolution personnel appointed by the NCLT would also amount to contempt of court,” the company claimed. The company official said that the IRP has written to the district administration to de-seal the premises immediately, and is also planning to take up the matter with the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) or the Supreme Court.
