Sunil Gavaskar’s big statement, said- bring this player in Tests… the team will become stronger…

New Delhi. After a spectacular victory in the final of the T20 World Cup 2024, Team India is now eyeing the World Test Championship final. Last time Australia defeated India. Meanwhile, Sunil Gavaskar believes that the arrival of Hardik Pandya in the Indian Test team can strengthen the team. Hardik has not played Test cricket for about 7 years. he/she plays only T20 cricket and ODI cricket for India. he/she is the captain of Mumbai Indians in the IPL.

During an interview, Suvil Gavaskar said, “Yes, Hardik Pandya should play. I think in the next two months, the team management should motivate Hardik Pandya to play Test cricket. If he/she bowls two overs a day and bats, then Team India can be invincible and they will be sure to reach the final of the World Test Championship and they can beat Australia in Australia.”

Let us tell you that Hardik Pandya started his/her Test career brilliantly. But due to injury, he/she could play only 11 matches. he/she last played Test cricket in September 2018. In those 11 Test matches, Pandya has scored 532 runs in 18 innings at an average of 31.29, which includes one century and four half-centuries. he/she has taken 17 wickets with the red ball, in which his/her best performance has been 5 wickets for 28 runs. Team India has reached the WTC final twice, but lost once to New Zealand and once to Australia.
