Sarfaraz NEET Success Story: 21 year old Sarfaraz of West Bengal has become an example. Despite earning just Rs 300 a day by lifting 400 bricks, Sarfaraz worked hard for his/her dream of becoming a doctor. Sarfaraz, who works as a day laborer, scored 677 marks out of 720 in the NEET 2024 exam. Once Alakh Pandey, founder of coaching platform Physicswala, shared his/her video. This viral video took Sarfaraz’s story to the entire country.

Sarfaraz’s tough routine

Sarfaraz followed a rigorous routine for two years to prepare for NEET. he/she used to work as a laborer from 6 am to 2 pm so that he/she could support his/her family. After this, he/she used to spend the rest of his/her time in studies. Even when others doubted him/her, his/her determination and courage remained intact.

his/her mother has played an important role in Sarfaraz’s success. his/her mother said, ‘There was no roof in our house earlier, and I used to stay awake so that he/she would not get cold.’ Sarfaraz used to study in his/her small house which was built under PM Awas Yojana.

Sarfaraz’s hard work in preparing for NEET finally paid off when he/she took admission in the prestigious Neel Ratan Government (NRS) Medical College, Kolkata.

his/her journey was not easy. After class 10th, his/her dream was to join NDA, but due to financial constraints and a serious accident, he/she had to give up the idea. During the Corona pandemic, Sarfaraz received government assistance to buy a phone, which proved to be a game changer for him/her.

In his/her first NEET attempt, he/she took admission in a dental college, but could not continue due to lack of hostel facilities.
