Success lies in unity, not in war… PM Modi gave the world a new mantra of peace and development at the UN

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi said at the UN’s ‘Summit of Future’ in New York that success lies in our collective strength and not in the battlefield. Reforms in global institutions are necessary for global peace and development. Reform is the key to relevance. he/she said that permanent membership of African Union in the G-20 Summit held in New Delhi was an important step in this direction. Modi said that on one hand there is a threat of global terrorism to global peace and security, on the other hand many new fields of conflict like cyber, maritime, space are being created. Global action on all these subjects should be according to global ambition. Regulation is required for safe and balanced use of technology. Modi said that we need such global digital governance that national sovereignty and integrity remain intact.

India is ready to share its digital public infrastructure with the whole world for global good. One Earth, One Family, One Future is a commitment for India. India will continue to work with thought, word and deed to protect the interests of the entire humanity and for global prosperity. PM Modi said that just now in June, in the biggest election in human history, the people of India have given me the opportunity to serve for the third consecutive time and I have come here to convey the voice of one-sixth of humanity to you.

PM talks with American CEO on AI, semiconductors

Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in a ‘Sarthak’ round table conference with the CEOs of major IT companies on Sunday, the second day of his/her three-day visit to the US. During this, discussions were held on increasing mutual cooperation in various fields including the development possibilities in India. CEOs of 15 major US companies working on very modern technologies like AI, quantum computing and semiconductors participated in the meeting. During this, the Prime Minister emphasized that every effort will be made to make India the third largest economy in the world during his/her third term. he/she encouraged companies to take advantage of India’s development story in terms of cooperation and innovation.

Google announced the fund

At the CEO roundtable meeting with PM Modi, Google’s Sundar Pichai said that we are investing strongly in AI in India. Pichai announced a $120 million ‘Global AI Opportunity Fund’. Jensen Huang, CEO of graphics processing unit (GPU) major Nvidia, said that the Prime Minister has always been keen to know about AI, its potential and opportunities for India.
