The producer of this film, Subhash Ghai, has made it clear that he/she is working on the sequel, but has said a big thing about its lead characters. The film ‘Aitraaz’ released in 2004 was one of the hit films of that era. And now after 20 years, preparations are being made for its sequel. While talking to DNA at the 55th International Film Festival, Subhash Ghai talked about the sequel of ‘Aitraaz’ and said that it will not star Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar or Kareena Kapoor.

New generation actors in the sequel of ‘Aitraaz’

he/she said, since it has been more than 20 years since the release of ‘Aitraaz’, now they will have to cast new generation actors in the sequel. Subhash said, ‘It has been almost 20 years since Aitraaz was made, so for the sequel we will have to make it with today’s contemporary artists and new generation actors.’ Subhash Ghai also told that he/she is also working on ‘Khalnayak 2’.

Subhash has chosen Amit Rai for ‘Aitraaz 2’

Subhash Ghai had produced ‘Aitraaz’, it was directed by director Abbas-Mustan, but for ‘Aitraaz 2’ Subhash has chosen Amit Rai who had directed ‘OMG 2’.
