Subhash Ghai called Shatrughan Sinha overconfident and Jackie Shroff a bad actor

Famous Bollywood director Subhash Ghai freely expresses his/her opinion about actors. he/she never hesitates to say anything. he/she was questioned about many celebs in Arbaaz Khan’s chat show. In which he/she called Jackie Shroff a ‘bad actor’ and Shatrughan Sinha ‘overconfident’. he/she also spoke about Shahrukh Khan. This time Subhash Ghai was the guest in Arbaaz Khan’s chat show ‘Invincibles Series Season 2’. Sharing his/her opinion on actors, he/she said, ‘There are five types of actors sir. One is a non-actor, and one is a bad actor. So the bad actor was Jackie Shroff. The actor is Anil Kapoor. The one who was overconfident was always Shatrughan Sinha. Shatrughan’s biggest problem was that he/she never used to reach on time.’

Subhash Ghai has worked with Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor in the 1989 film ‘Kaam Lakhan’. he/she has also worked with Shatrughan Sinha in other films including ‘Kalicharan’ and ‘Vishwanath’. Talking about his/her relationship with Shah Rukh Khan, the director said, ‘Like when I worked with Shah Rukh in Pardes, there was always a rift between him/her and me, there was constant bickering. Then after Karz (1980), I thought that I don’t want to make a film with all the current stars, if I want to make a real film.’

In the interview, the filmmaker also talked about being called the ‘showman’ of Indian cinema. he/she said that he/she does not like to see himself like this. Talking about Subhash’s films, they include ‘Kalicharan’ (1976), ‘Vishwanath’ (1978), ‘Karz’ (1980), ‘Hero’ (1983), ‘Vidhaata’ (1982), ‘Meri Jung’ (1985), Karma (1986), ‘Ram Lakhan’ (1989), ‘Saudagar’ (1991), ‘Khalnayak’ (1993), ‘Pardes’ (1997) and ‘Taal’ (1999).
