    New Delhi. Hyderabad lost 7 wickets in the match played between Delhi Capitals and Sunrisers Hyderabad (Delhi Capitals vs Sunrisers Hyderabad). Hyderabad won the toss and decided to bat first which overshadowed them. Hyderabad’s team was reduced to 163 in front of Mitchell Starc’s brilliant bowling. While chasing, the Delhi team won in 16 overs.

    Head started with two consecutive fours in Stark’s first over but Abhishek was run out in this over. In Stark’s next over, Ishan caught Triston Stabs on the boundary while Nitish also caught Delhi captain Akshar Patel. Stark caught Head by wicketkeeper Lokesh Rahul and gave the fourth blow to Sunrisers.

    Sunrisers lost wickets at regular intervals and only Aniket Verma (74 runs, 41 balls, six sixes, five fours) and Heinrich Klassen (32) were able to bat. Both also shared a 77 -run partnership for the fifth wicket. Apart from these two, only Travis Head (22) was able to reach double digits.

    With the sharp bowling of Mitchell Starc and Kuldeep Yadav, Delhi Capitals held Sunrisers Hyderabad for 163 runs in the Indian Premier League on Sunday. Stark bowled the best of his/her career, five for 35 runs while Kuldeep took three wickets for 22 runs, returning the entire team of Sunrisers in 18.4 overs.

    New Delhi: The Congress party has indicated to bring a bill on judicial accountability, amidst the reports of reports of getting crores of rupees at a Supreme Court judge’s house and resumption of National Judicial Appointments Commission (NJAC) by Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. However, the Congress is avoiding supporting any such law that the government gets control of the appointment of judges. The party wants a method to be taken out for the appointment of judges in which the government does not interfere.

    Is Congress also in favor of NJAC?

    Many Congress leaders believe that the existing collegium system is not functioning properly, but they also believe that implementing NJAC may threaten the independence of the judiciary. The party says that the government should bring a better NJAC bill, which all people can consider together. Congress leaders are also insisting on judicial accountability, so that action can be taken against the wrongdoing judges.

    New debate starts after the judge gets cash

    Recently, there were reports of cash worth crores of rupees at a High Court judge’s house. After this, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar talked about resumption of NJAC. This has once again started a debate over the appointment of judges. The Congress party has said that it will support a bill on judicial accountability. But it will not support any law that the government gets control of the appointment of judges.

    The Congress supported the NJAC bill in 2014. Then Parliament also passed it. But the Supreme Court canceled this law in October 2015. Last week, Dhankar raised the issue again in a meeting with Rajya Sabha leaders. Many people of the opposition believe that the Vice President is trying to find out what is the attitude of different parties on the collegium system for the appointment of judges. The purpose of NJAC was to change this collegium system.

    Kharge consult Congress leaders

    According to sources, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge had consulted some big leaders of the party before the meeting with Dhankhar. Some leaders told Kharge that the party should theoretically agree that another method should be found in lieu of the collegium system. But the government should not be controlled by this. The leaders argued that by doing so, the government would occupy this entire system.

    ‘Government brought formula’

    A senior Congress leader said the Indian Express said, “We agree that there should be a satisfactory way to appoint judges. Not only the appointment of judges, NJAAC i.e. National Judicial Appointments and Accountability should also be commissioned, which should also ensure appointments as well as accountability. When the government brings its formula, we will comment on this.”

    ‘Collegium failed to a large extent’

    Rajya Sabha MP and senior Congress leader Abhishek Singhvi said, “I have no hesitation in saying that the collegium system has failed to a large extent. I also agree that the investigation by Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna has started, it is commendable and its report should be shared in a transparent manner. he/she says that NJAC will solve all the problems.

    ‘Judiciary’s issue of accountability’

    his/her party ally and Lok Sabha MP Manish Tiwari said that the issue is not only about judicial appointments, but also with the accountability of the judiciary. he/she said that apart from impeachment on judges, there should be ways to take action on them. Tiwari said that the scope of NJAC is limited. he/she said, “It does not start and end with appointments. That is why the UPA government came up with a judicial standard and accountability bill, which was unfortunate. However, Parliament needs to discuss its role in detail in monitoring both the legislature and the judiciary. Tiwari believes that Tiwari believes that there should be a clear process to act on the mistakes of the judges.

    Tiwari expressed surprise that Parliament is not discussing this issue, while it is in the minds of the people and is on the front page of the newspapers. he/she said that the Union Law Minister has not made a single statement on the incident of Justice Yashwant Verma. he/she said, “No person is blaming anyone, but the government should inform Parliament. I am afraid that Parliament is running away from its responsibility if it chooses to be silent on the issue of widespread impact.”

Three of these players are from Dholpur district. Now these players will participate in a special training camp at the Center of Excellence of NCA in Tamil Nadu from 18 April to 14 May. This selection is a proof of his/her hard work and brilliant sports talent.

District Cricket Association spokesperson Sanjeev Srivastava told Local 18 that National Cricket Academy’s head coach VVS Laxman has selected Rajat Baghel, Sujal Parmar and Harsh Singh in NCA. I was married to the Jagirdar family. I got to see service and love in this family after coming to the in -laws. I consider myself lucky that I got such a family.

    New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs has extended AFSPA for 6 months in three northeastern states of Manipur, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh. This law will now be applicable in the entire Manipur except 13 police station areas. This has been done in view of the law and order situation there. Along with this, AFSPA has also been extended in 21 police station areas of eight districts of Nagaland and five other districts. It has also been implemented in three districts of Arunachal Pradesh and some parts of Namsai district. AFSPA gives security forces the power to take action in turbulent areas. This includes the right to search, arrest and use force without first permission.

    AFSPA will continue in these districts

    According to a government information, AFSPA will remain in force in Tirip, Changlang and Longing districts of Arunachal Pradesh. Apart from this, it will also be applicable in areas under Namsai, Mahadevpur and Chaukham police stations in Namsai district. This area shares the border with Assam. These areas have been declared turbulent under Section 3 of AFSPA since 1 April 2025.

    In Nagaland, AFSPA has also been extended to 21 police station areas of eight districts and five other districts. This decision has been taken after reviewing the security situation there.

    Action of security forces in Manipur

    At the same time, security forces in Manipur have intensified their action. Due to this, many arrests have been made and weapons have been recovered. Recently three terrorists have been caught in Manipur. These include restricted groups Prepak (Pro) and KCP members. In addition, a man has been arrested for selling illegal activities, such as selling SIM cards for extortion.

    2. Firozabad railway accident (1995)

    On 20 August 1995, a major accident occurred near Firozabad in Uttar Pradesh, when Purushottam Express hit Kalindi Express standing. About 350 people lost their lives and hundreds were injured in the accident. It is said that this accident occurred due to a signaling disturbance and human mistake, which raised serious questions on the security system of the railway.

    3. Gasal Train Accident (1999)

    On 2 August 1999, there was a fierce collision between the Brahmaputra Mail and the Awadh Assam Express near Gasal Station in West Bengal. More than 285 people were killed in this accident, while more than 300 were injured. The accident occurred due to a malfunction of the signaling system, in which both trains came on the same track. This tragedy highlighted the shortcomings of the technical structure of the railway.

    4. Rajdhani Express Accident (2002)

    The Rajdhani Express going from Kolkata to New Delhi in September 2002 was passing through a bridge over the Dhave river in Aurangabad district of Bihar, when it fell victim to the accident. Several coaches of the train fell into the river, in which at least 120 people died. Railway officials described it as a case of sabotage, but its complete investigation could never be clear.

    5. Odisha’s Balasore train accident (2023)

    The train accident in Balasore district of Odisha on 2 June 2023 shook the entire country. The accident included Bengaluru-Howrah Superfast Express, Shalimar-Chennai Coromandal Express and a freight train. The Coromandel Express collided with a stable goods train, after which its coaches derailed and hit the other train. More than 296 people died and more than 1,200 were injured in the accident. It was one of the most deadly railway accidents of the 21st century.
