Students from only these two states of India got 56% of US student visas, shocking data came out.

Indian students in America: There is a huge craze among Indians to study in America. The world class universities here attract students from all over India. However, there are some states where students are at the forefront in obtaining US visa. Recently the US Consulate General has released a report, in which information about student visas given to Indian students in 2023 has been given. There are two states where students have got the maximum number of visas.
The report of the US Consulate General states that out of the total student visas given to Indian students in 2023, 56 percent have been given to students from only two states. These states are Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, where students are at the forefront in getting visas. Thus, one out of every two students who went to America to study was either from Andhra Pradesh or Telangana. Embassy data shows how there is a competition between students from these two states of South India to study in American institutions.

What is the reason for going to study in America?

Both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states are known for their educational infrastructure, especially in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields. Big coaching centers of India are present in both the states of South India, which prepare students for admission in universities of foreign countries and for tests like GRE and TOEFL. Due to abundant job opportunities after studies in America, there is a craze among students to go to study here.
