‘Stree 2’ release date: Shraddha Kapoor’s film to have a huge clash with Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ and Akshay’s film

Shraddha Kapoor has finally announced the release date of her superhit film ‘Stree 2’. On Friday morning, the actress took to her Instagram handle to announce that the film, which also stars Rajkummar Rao in the lead role, will release in theatres this Independence Day i.e. on August 15. She wrote, “This Independence Day, #Stree is coming again! Check out the Stree 2 release date announcement video here.” Stree was released in 2018. It received a lot of love from fans and was a box office hit as well. The music of the film also grabbed a lot of attention. ‘Milegi Milegi’ and ‘Aao Kabhi Haveli Pe’ became massive chartbusters. Stree 2 is directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films. It is a part of the same horror-comedy series that includes films like Stree, Roohi and Bhediya.

‘Stree 2’ will clash with Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ at the box office. Earlier this year, the makers of ‘Pushpa 2’ also released the teaser of the film on Allu Arjun’s birthday and got fans excited for the film. In the teaser, the Telugu star was seen wearing a sari and his/her face was painted with blue and red. he/she was seen beating up goons. Currently, the shooting of ‘Pushpa 2’ is going on.

The release date of ‘Pushpa 2’ may be postponed

Amidst all this, reports are coming about ‘Pushpa 2’ that the film may not release on 15th August and it may be postponed. Many reasons are being given behind this. There are reports that director Sukumar is reshooting some parts of the film. he/she is reshooting some scenes and that is also the reason for the delay.

Meanwhile, Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khel Khel’ will also release in theatres on Independence Day this year. Mark your calendars for 15th August, 2024 when #KhelKhelMein releases in theatres.’ The film ‘Khel Khel Mein’ also stars Taapsee Pannu, Amy Virk, Aditya Seal, Pragya Jaiswal and Fardeen Khan.
