‘Stree 2’ created havoc in the first week, crossed 410 crores in just 8 days, ‘Gadar 2’, KGF 2, all behind

On Thursday, 15 August, there was a triple clash of ‘Stree 2’ with ‘Khel Khel Mein’ and ‘Veda’. But this sequel of ‘Stree’ which was released in 2018 showed its power by earning a bumper amount of 51.80 crores on opening day. The film earned more than its budget on the very first day. This film has come like a festival amidst the gloom prevailing at the box office for weeks and has earned more than super amidst laughter in the theatres. According to the report of sacnilk, ‘Stree 2’ has earned Rs 16.00 crore on Thursday, the 8th day of its release. Despite weekdays, about 30% of the seats in the theatres were occupied on Thursday. The film has made a net collection of Rs 290.85 crore in the country in the first week, which is 481.7% more than its budget.
