In Monday’s hearing, Justice Suryakant said, “These youth and oversmart people think that they know more than us … one of them went to Canada and said a lot about it there.” To this, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said, “Yes, he/she (referring to Raina) went abroad and made fun of this action.” Justice Suryakant further said, “Perhaps they don’t know how much strength this court has.” he/she warned the YouTubers, ‘Stay with Tamiz, otherwise we know how to deal with you.’

Raina was on a ‘Time Raina Unfiltred’ tour in Canada last month. he/she commented on the controversy in a funny manner. In his/her first comment on stage, he/she jokingly said, “Thank you for paying my lawyer’s fees.” Ranveer Allabia, known as’ The Beerbieceps Cow ‘, made obscene comments on parents’ physical relations in Raina’s show’ India’s Got Latant ‘last month, causing great controversy. These comments spread heavy resentment and sparked debate in Parliament. Several complaints were filed against this social media personality.
These YouTubers also filed cases
Along with Raina, people like Ashish Chanchalani, Jaspreet Singh and Apoorva Makhija were also registered against him/her. All these were part of the show. Hours after the episode was removed from YouTube, Raina issued a statement saying that he/she had removed all the videos of the show from his/her channel and is ‘full cooperation’ with the authorities. Allahabadia also apologized in a video, saying that his/her comments were ‘not only unfair, but also not funny.’ However, the Supreme Court had stopped 31 -year -old YouTuber from shooting a further show.
Ranveer gets relief
The Supreme Court allowed Allahabadia to resume his/her podcast ‘The Ranveer Show’ in Monday’s hearing. The court said that there is a need to ‘balance between morality and freedom of expression’. After this major controversy, before preparing the guidelines for digital content, the Supreme Court also asked the Center to take care of this.
The airs must be loose
Actually, a lot is being spoken in the name of freedom of expression. People have never noticed the basic duties mentioned in the same constitution, keeping an eye on the rights found in the Constitution. The question is whether the disgusting effort to hurt social values can also be defended under the guise of freedom of expression?
