SSC Stenographer Admit Card: City slip released for more than 2 thousand vacancies of SSC, now admit card will come!

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the exam city information for Stenographer Recruitment in Group C and D. The examination will be conducted in multiple shifts for all the candidates. Information like timing of the exam and exact location of the exam center will be given on the admit card. SSC Stenographer Exam 2024 will be held on December 10 and 11. This examination will fill 2006 vacant posts in various government departments of India.

The SSC Stenographer exam evaluates a candidate’s ability to transcribe written material at a certain speed, which is an important skill for stenographer roles. Transcribe means writing down the spoken words. This is very important for a stenographer. Candidates are advised to download their admit card from the official website of SSC as it will not be sent by post.

There are two stages in the SSC Steno Recruitment process. The first stage is Computer Based Examination (CBE). In this, the general knowledge, reasoning ability and proficiency in English language of the candidates are tested through multiple choice questions. Candidates who qualify the CBE will proceed to the second stage, which is the Stenography Skill Test.
