SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2025: The vacancy which the youth were eagerly waiting for has arrived. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the bumper recruitment of GD constable on 5th September. The commission has released the SSC GD Recruitment Notification 2025. After which the online application process for SSC GD New Vacancy 2025 has also started on the official website of SSC, ssc.gov.in. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for GD Constable till 14 October 2024.

SSC GD 2025 Notification PDF: Vacancy Details

Applications for SSC GD Constable 2025 will start from 5th September 2024. Interested candidates can apply online till 14th October 2024. A total of 39,481 vacancies in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and paramilitary organizations will be filled through this recruitment drive.

The details of the vacancies are as follows: 15,654 posts in Border Security Force (BSF), 7,145 posts in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), 11,541 posts in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), 819 posts in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), 3,017 posts in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), 1,248 posts in Assam Rifles (AR), 35 posts in Special Security Force (SSF) and 122 posts in Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB).

The last date to apply online is October 14, 2024, while the last date to pay the application fee is October 15, 2024. The window for correction in the application form will be open from November 5 to November 7, 2024. The Computer Based Test (CBT) is likely to be held in January 2025.

The age of the candidates applying for this recruitment should be between 18 to 23 years as on 1 January 2025. As an educational qualification, it is mandatory for the candidates to have passed 10th.

The selection process for SSC GD Constable 2025 comprises four stages: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Document Verification and Medical Examination.

The CBT will have four sections: Reasoning and Intelligence, General Knowledge (GK), Mathematics, and Language (English/Hindi). Each subject will have 20 questions, each carrying 2 marks. That is, the total marks will be 160. There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer.

Candidates who qualify the CBT will be called for PET and PMT. Candidates who pass the PET and PMT will have to get their documents verified. Candidates who are successful in the document verification will have to undergo the final stage i.e. medical test.

The application process is completely online. Candidates are advised to go through the official notification carefully for detailed information and eligibility criteria.
