Special gift to women on PM Modi’s birthday! Subhadra Yojana will be launched in Odisha

New Delhi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to launch ‘Subhadra Yojana’ for the women of Odisha on the occasion of his/her birthday on 17 September. BJP included this big scheme in its manifesto and the women of Odisha gave full support to BJP not only in the Lok Sabha elections but also in the assembly elections. Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, who won a big victory from Sambalpur Lok Sabha seat, which is called the center of West Odisha, said that there is tremendous enthusiasm among the women of Odisha regarding the Subhadra Yojana.

On Sunday, mothers and sisters took out the “Subhadra Swagat Padyatra” in the entire state including Bhubaneswar. Every year a big campaign is started on the occasion of the PM’s birthday, last year ‘Seva Pakhwada’ was started on the PM’s birthday and many campaigns were started in the field of health. Ayushman fairs were organized at all the Health and Wellness Centers in the country.

Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that on the occasion of his/her birthday on September 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the “Subhadra Yojana”. he/she said that the BJP fulfills what it promises. The “Subhadra Yojana” for the empowerment of women of Odisha was part of the BJP’s manifesto and we are taking a big step towards the fulfillment of another promise. Experts say that the Subhadra Yojana has proved to be a game changer in Odisha’s politics.

What is Subhadra Yojana?

Under this scheme, every eligible beneficiary will get Rs 10,000 per year in two equal installments. Every woman will get a total of Rs 50,000 in five years. All eligible women in the age group of 21-60 will get the benefit of Subhadra Yojana. If there are two or three eligible women in a family, then all will get the benefit. All eligible women including women receiving widow pension and scholarship from the government will get assistance.

To economically empower women across the country, different schemes are being run in many states, in this sequence, now the name of Odisha has also been added. This scheme will be started for five years, the duration of which is from the financial year 2024-25 to 2028-29. The state government has allocated a budget of Rs 55,825 crore for this.
