South Africa in bad shape in T20, West Indies did a clean sweep

The Proteas team had to face a shameful clean sweep in the T20 series against the West Indies. The South African team could not win a single match in the three-match series. With three consecutive wins, host West Indies won the T20 series 3-0. In the last match interrupted by rain, South Africa scored 108 runs for 4 wickets in 13 overs. In 9.2 overs, West Indies achieved the revised target of 116 runs by losing only 2 wickets.

According to the Duckworth Lewis rule, a revised target of 116 runs was set for West Indies to win. Shai Hope played a brilliant innings of 42 runs in 24 balls. Nicholas Pooran almost finished the match by scoring 35 runs in 13 balls. In the end, Shimron Hetmyer scored 31 runs in 17 balls and led the team to victory.
