Sooner or later, a solution will emerge… Defense Minister Rajnath Singh gave the latest update on LAC issue.

New Delhi: Defense Minister Rajnath Singh Said that after talks between India and China, a broad consensus has been reached to restore the ground situation along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). This also includes patrolling traditional areas and allowing cattle to graze. In ‘Chanakya Defense Dialogue 2024’, the Defense Minister described the agreement between the two countries as an important development. This underlines the importance of defense dialogue on the global stage.

‘India and China are holding talks to resolve differences’

Rajnath Singh said, ‘India and China are holding talks at both military and diplomatic levels to resolve differences in some areas along the LAC. Following the talks, a broad consensus has been reached to restore the ground situation based on the principle of equal and mutual security. he/she said this also includes patrolling, allowing grazing activities in traditional areas. This has been possible due to continuous dialogue, because sooner or later a solution will be found.

Rajnath gave update on India-China talks

Defense Minister Rajnath Singh said that the agreement reached between India and China on LAC shows the importance of defense dialogue in the global stage. he/she said that both India and China were continuously talking at diplomatic and military level to resolve differences in some areas on LAC.

Due to the talks, it was agreed that the situation should be restored on the principle of equal security and mutual security. Consensus was reached regarding patrolling and grazing in traditional areas. This is the power of continuous dialogue, because sooner or later solutions emerge only through dialogue.

Defense Minister said this on PM Modi-Jinping meeting

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday supported the India-China agreement on patrolling and disengagement of troops along the LAC in eastern Ladakh. Issued instructions to restore various bilateral dialogue mechanisms, signaling efforts to normalize relations that were hit by the 2020 military clash.

In the nearly 50-minute meeting held on the sidelines of the BRICS summit in Kazan, Russia, PM Modi raised the issue of properly handling differences and disputes. Along with this, it underlined the importance of not allowing peace and stability in the border areas to be disturbed. he/she said that mutual trust, mutual respect and mutual sensitivity should remain the basis of relations.
