Actor Sonu Sood has expressed grief over the horrific incident that happened in Kuwait and has appealed for help to the families of those who lost their lives. On Wednesday, June 12, a fire broke out in a 6-storey building in Mangaf city of Kuwait, in which more than 45 Indian workers lost their lives. Sonu Sood has shared a video and appealed to the public and the government to help the families of those killed. Sonu Sood shared a video on his/her Instagram account, in which he/she is expressing grief for the people killed and is also appealing for help.

In the video, Sonu Sood is saying, ‘A very big incident happened in Kuwait, where 49 of our workers died in a fire. 30 of them were from Kerala. I know the families of some of those who lost their lives. These people belonged to very poor families, who went there with great difficulty to work. When we travel, we see that these people live in very small places. 8-10 people live in one room. They get up early in the morning and go to the bus. They work hard. They work hard all day. Their whole life is spent in saving little money and then suddenly such an incident happens that everything is lost.’

Sonu Sood further said, ‘I am requesting everyone that whoever can come in contact with them, please contribute something for these families from your side. Details of these families will be revealed on many social media platforms.’
