Sonia Gandhi should return Nehru’s letters… What are the things mentioned in the letter written by PM Memorial?

New Delhi: A letter has been written to Rahul Gandhi to return the letter of the country’s first Prime Minister Pandit Jawahar Lal Nehru. The Prime Minister’s Museum and Library (PMML) has requested Rahul Gandhi to return letters related to former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. It is being said that these letters were delivered to Congress leader Sonia Gandhi in 2008. These letters were written by Pandit Nehru to Edwina Mountbatten, who was the wife of Lord Mountbatten. Even in the month of September, PMML had requested Sonia Gandhi to return these letters, give them copies or make them available in digital form. The return of the letters has been demanded by PMML Society member, historian and writer Rizwan Qadri. In a special conversation with a news channel, Qadri said that on September 9, I had written a letter to Sonia Gandhi and now I have written to Rahul Gandhi. In September, Qadri had told the media that 51 boxes containing records related to Nehru had been taken back from PMML (earlier Nehru Memorial Museum and Library or NMML) by Sonia Gandhi’s office.

Qadri had said that the withdrawn collection included letters written to Jayaprakash Narayan, Babu Jagjivan Ram, Edwina Mountbatten. he/she had also said that these letters are being sought back for complete information about the history of India.

Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Sambit Patra and party’s IT cell chief Amit Malviya raised questions in this matter by posting separate X’s. Patra said this is interesting! Letters written by Nehru to various individuals, including Edwina Mountbatten, were taken over by then UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi from today’s Prime Minister’s Museum and Library, which was earlier the Nehru Museum and Library.

BJP leaders said that what is written in these letters is not yet clear. It was asked from their side why it is not being returned. PMML is making continuous efforts to get these letters back so that a complete study of the history of India can be done. It remains to be seen how Rahul Gandhi responds to PMML’s request and whether these letters are recovered or not. No statement has yet come from the Congress party on this matter.
