She further wrote, ‘I have spent 20 years trying to find him/her, I went to many different cities to find him/her and spent my own money. Many times I had to borrow money from my mother. So Chintu ji should rest in peace, I will fulfill my promise. Chintu and other actresses also tried a lot to find him/her.’

Somi has also requested people to message her if they know anything about Raj Kiran. She wrote, ‘This is just to see if he/she is okay and if he/she needs any help. I have been running my organization as a victim advocate for 17 years and I have never lost courage. I just want to know if he/she is okay, that’s all we want and now I have to fulfill my promise.’

However, Raj Kiran’s daughter released a public statement denying the reports of the actor being found in Atlanta and said that his/her family was searching for him/her with the help of the New York Police.
