Sometimes here, sometimes there and this time… public taught a lesson to party-changing leaders, by-election results gave a big message

New Delhi : The results of by-elections on 13 assembly seats in 7 states have been declared. In these by-elections, the All India Alliance has performed brilliantly. On the other hand, BJP has been disappointed in these elections. All India Alliance partner parties have won 10 out of 13 seats. Congress has won the maximum number of 5 candidates. On the other hand, all four candidates of TMC have won the elections in West Bengal. The special thing about these elections is that the public has taught a lesson to the turncoats. BJP has suffered the most loss in these. BJP had expressed trust in the turncoats from Punjab, Uttarakhand to Himachal Pradesh. Let’s know what was the condition of turncoats in this election.

In Uttarakhand too, rebels lost in Badrinath

BJP has suffered a big setback in the by-elections held in Uttarakhand. BJP has lost the by-elections held on two seats here. The special thing is that the party had given ticket to a rebel candidate of Congress on Badrinath seat. Rajendra Singh Bhandari, who won the 2002 assembly elections on a Congress ticket, had switched sides before the Lok Sabha elections. In such a situation, BJP expressed confidence in Bhandari in the by-election. In such a situation, BJP’s strategy of breaking Congress and making lotus bloom did not prove effective.

BJP’s claim of giving ticket to a turncoat leader in Punjab did not work. In the by-election for Jalandhar West, the party’s candidate Sheetal Angural lost by 37 thousand votes. Sheetal was earlier an MLA of Aam Aadmi Party. Before the Lok Sabha elections, he/she left AAP and joined BJP. Due to this, a by-election had to be held on this seat. BJP had given ticket to Sheetal Angural in the by-election. However, the public taught a lesson to Angural who had turnedcoat. AAP candidate Mohinder Bhagat won from here.

Bima Bharti, who changed sides in Bihar before the Lok Sabha elections, also had to face defeat in the by-election held on Rupauli seat. Bima Bharti had contested the Lok Sabha elections from Purnia parliamentary constituency on RJD ticket. She was defeated there too. The special thing is that Pappu Yadav, who was Bima Bharti’s opponent in the Lok Sabha elections, also supported Bima Bharti in the by-election. Even after this, the public defeated the leader who changed sides. Here, strongman Shankar Singh, who was in LJP, won as an independent candidate.

Rebel candidates also faced defeat in Himachal. In the by-elections held for three seats in the state, Congress won two and BJP won one. Independent candidates had won all three seats in the state. Independent candidate KL Thakur contested the Nalagarh seat on a BJP ticket this time. his/her joining the BJP camp did not go down well with the public. Thakur was defeated by Congress candidate Hardeep Baba by more than 9 thousand votes. The independent MLA switching sides and joining the BJP did not go down well with the Dehra seat of the state as well. Here Hoshiar Singh had to face defeat at the hands of CM Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu’s wife.
