‘Someone’s father’s Hindustan is a little…’ Diljit’s reply to Bajrang Dal from Rahat Indori’s couplet


Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh is in the news at the moment. his/her live concerts are going on in different cities of the country. Along with this, controversies are also taking place. he/she performed in Indore, Madhya Pradesh on Sunday and responded with gestures to Bajrang Dal by reciting a couplet from the famous poet and writer Rahat Indori. It is known that Bajrang Dal workers had come out on the streets to protest against openly serving liquor and meat in the programme. Diljit Dosanjh did a live show in front of a crowd of thousands of people. During this, he/she also gave a message to his/her opponents, but in gestures. While reciting some lines written by the famous poet Rahat Indori, he/she said, ‘Everyone’s blood is included in the soil here, some father’s Hindustan is a little.’

Diljit has given this message in a gesture when Bajrang Dal members protested against him/her and his/her concert in Indore and protested against the open sale of liquor and meat in the program. Diljit stopped during the concert and spoke Rahat Indori’s famous lines ‘Agar khilaf hai hone do’. he/she roared in such a way that the audience was filled with enthusiasm.

Earlier, Diljit had come into limelight when the Telangana government had banned his/her songs mentioning alcohol before his/her Hyderabad concert. The singer then changed the lyrics of the song and challenged government officials to ban the sale of liquor in the country.
