So Sachin Tendulkar will join Indian cricket, BCCI secretary Jay Shah is trying!

New Delhi
Jay Shah, Secretary, Board of Control for Cricket in India Sachin Tendulkar Wants to associate with Indian cricket. It is reported that Jay Shah plans to give an important role to the Master Blaster in Indian cricket in the near future. Sachin is currently associated with Mumbai Indians as a mentor, although he has no direct role in Indian cricket. Sachin played international cricket for 24 years and has many records to his name.

The 48-year-old Tendulkar made his international debut at the age of 16. He has more than 34 thousand international runs to his name. The Fab Four of Indian batting (Sachin, Rahul Dravid, Sourav Ganguly and VVS Laxman) are now the only ones who have not joined Indian cricket management in any way. Dravid has recently become the coach of the senior men’s team and VVS Laxman has become the chairman of the National Cricket Academy.

Jay Shah is busy in celebrating Sachin
According to the news of our colleague Times of India, Shah sincerely wants Sachin to be associated with Indian cricket in some form or the other. Shah had earlier persuaded Rahul Dravid to become the coach of Team India. Dravid had been refusing this for a long time. However, he later agreed to play the role. Along with this, Laxman was also persuaded for the role of head coach of NCA.

A source close to the BCCI said, “Shah is away from the media but he is very clear about his goal. He is busy fixing the little things that matter. For example making Rahul Dravid the head coach of Team India. Ensuring that VVS Laxman joins the National Cricket Academy. Now we have come to know that he wants to see Sachin Tendulkar in some role in the near future.

Now it will be interesting to see if Jay Shah celebrates Sachin can be successful or not. If this happens then Sachin will have to leave the mentorship of Mumbai Indians.
