According to sources, PM Modi may decide not to attend the summit this time due to the Parliament session going on till July 3. PM Modi has previously regularly participated in the summit meetings of the Eurasian block. This time it was expected that PM Modi could hold bilateral talks with President Vladimir Putin. Despite being a full member of the SCO, India is different in this group in the sense that it is the only member not to support China’s BRI and does not have any bilateral engagement with Pakistan.
