Sky Force Review: This story of real life war hero makes you emotional

War films have always been a favorite subject of cinema people. But the background of most of the war films made so far has been the India-Pakistan war of 1971. For the first time in the film ‘Sky Force’, the true story related to the India-Pakistan war of 1965 has been shown on the big screen.

The film ‘Sky Force’ is based on the story of the supreme sacrifice of Squadron Leader T Vijay (Veer Pahadia). During the Indo-Pak war of 1965, Pakistan caused huge damage by attacking Indian Air Force bases with advanced fighter planes received from America. Wing Commander KO Ahuja (Akshay Kumar) gets the responsibility of counter-attacking with his/her team.

Story of T Vijay’s quest

However, during that time the Indian Air Force had less powerful fighter planes compared to the advanced fighter planes of Pakistan. Despite this, Wing Commander Ahuja and his/her team carried out a surprise attack on Pakistan’s considered very strong Sargodha airbase and destroyed many fighter planes present there. During this mission, Squadron Leader T Vijay did not return to the base. There was news of his/her ship being destroyed, but no information was received about T Vijay. Wing Commander Ahuja and his/her team mates were awarded gallantry medals for this successful mission, but he/she could not forget his/her comrade T Vijay and continued searching for him/her. You will have to go to the cinema hall to know how Wing Commander Ahuja honors and recognizes the bravery of his/her fellow pilots.

The duo of film directors Abhishek, Anil Kapoor and Sandeep Kewalani have made an excellent film based on the real story of a soldier’s indomitable courage and sacrifice. The story of the film has been written by Sandeep Kewalani along with his/her fellow writers. The film gets straight to the point without any unnecessary preamble and hooks you right from the beginning. Before the interval, the director introduces you to the background of the story. Whereas in the second half the story takes an interesting turn. The climax of the film has become quite impressive. Despite the fact that since this film is based on a real story, many people already know the ending of the film, still the director has succeeded in keeping the viewers engaged till the end. Due to the strong story and screenplay of this almost two-hour long film, it does not bore you anywhere.

Emotional story of martyr

You may find some scenes a bit weak before the interval, but the second half has become strong. The special thing is that because this film is not completely based on war, it thrills you, while the emotional story of the martyr also brings tears to your eyes. The cinematography of the film is strong, while that period has also been beautifully created with the help of VFX. Bringing about sixty years old era on the cinema screen was a big challenge, but the film’s director and technical team were successful in it. My song from the film is already on people’s lips.

Akshay Kumar made a great comeback

If we talk about acting, Akshay Kumar, who is considered the superstar of patriotic films, has made a good comeback after consecutive flop films. he/she does complete justice to his/her role in the film. Whereas Veer Pahadia, who started his/her film career with this film, showed that he/she is a long race horse. he/she has played his/her role with full enthusiasm in the very first film. The rest of the actors of the film have also done a decent job.

Why watch- If you want to watch a great patriotic film on Republic Day weekend, then don’t miss this film. You can buy tickets for this film with the entire family.
