China Shenzhou-15: Three astronauts aboard a spacecraft arriving at China’s under-construction space station today (November 30) met their three colleagues present there. With this, for the first time in space, six astronauts of the country gathered. China sent three astronauts (Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu) to its under-construction space station on Tuesday night via a spacecraft.
According to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA), the Shenzhou-15 spacecraft was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern China. Three people present on the space station welcomed the three new crew members with a hug. They also took a group photograph. These six astronauts will work together for about five days for the assigned tasks. After this, the first three passengers who lived in the space station for six months will return to Earth.
China will have its own space station
Beijing is expected to complete the construction of its space station by the end of this year amid stiff competition with China and the US. China will be the only country to have its own space station after the construction is completed, as Russia’s International Space Station (ISS) is a project with the participation of many countries.
China had recently dispatched three astronauts through a spacecraft to its under-construction space station amid tough competition with the US. The Shenzhou-15 spacecraft was launched from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwestern China. Three astronauts (Fei Junlong, Deng Qingming and Zhang Lu) boarded in it. In all these space stations, he will work closely with his colleagues and conduct more than 40 experiments in the field of space science research and applications and space medicine.
