Sitare Zameen Par: Aamir Khan’s film postponed, sequel of ‘Taare Zameen Par’ to be released in 2025, new cast

Aamir Khan, who is preparing for Oscar for ‘Missing Ladies’, has recently given an update about his/her next film ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. The film was earlier scheduled to release in December 2024, but now Aamir has shared that the film will release in mid-2025. he/she also talked about his/her upcoming projects and shared that he/she will be seen acting in his/her next film. While speaking to Deadline at the ‘Red Sea Film Festival’ in Jeddah, Aamir talked about ‘Sitaare Zameen Par’. And said, ‘We are coming for post production at the end of this month. We will be ready to release the film in the middle of next year. While Aamir described the film as a sequel to the 2007 film ‘Taare Zameen Par’, he/she also said that the film will not feature the same characters. he/she said, ‘It will bring new characters, a completely fresh story. This is the next part of Taare Zameen Par.

Aamir also talked about the next projects under his/her banner. he/she talked about making ‘Lahore 1947’ with directors Rajkumar Santoshi and Sunny Deol. he/she also said that he/she is also producing his/her son Junaid Khan’s upcoming film, which also stars Sai Pallavi. The name of the film is ‘Ek Din’. Aamir told that there is also his/her third production film in which he/she himself is acting, but he/she did not give any information about it.

Talking about his/her fourth production, Aamir said that it is a film written by Vir Das and like Austin Powers. Veer will also work in this film. Aamir recently talked about his/her son Junaid and his/her choice of films in ‘KBC 16’. Junaid made his/her debut this year with Netflix’s ‘Maharaj’. Aamir said that since Junaid had failed several screen tests, he/she wanted him/her to travel to the country to learn more about its culture.
