‘Singham Again’ Review: Action is strong, but the army of stars is more impressive than Bajirao Singham.

In the year 2011, director Rohit Shetty gave Hindi cinema a policeman with strict principles, who became an example. Although Rohit’s ‘Singham’ was actually inspired by the South film of the same name, actor Ajay Devgan dressed himself in khaki uniform in such a way that it became iconic. This is the reason that seeing the success of ‘Singham’, Rohit Shetty created a whole ‘cop universe’. At the same time, now with his/her new film ‘Singham Again’, this seed sown 13 years ago has become a complete banyan tree, in which after Simmba (Ranveer Singh), Suryavanshi (Akshay Kumar), Lady Singham Shakti Shetty (Deepika Padukone) and Satya ( Tiger Shroff has also entered.

Now the problem is that this crowd of stars has somehow overpowered ‘Singham’. In this film, Singham, who became the symbol of Ram, has so many fighters in his/her army that he/she starts missing his/her explosive style of action.

Story of ‘Singham Again’

The film’s story is based on the epic Ramayana, in which Singham’s (Ajay Devgan) wife Avni (Kareena Kapoor Khan) is kidnapped by the story’s Ravana i.e. Zubair Hafeez (Arjun Kapoor) and taken to Sri Lanka. Zubair, known as Danger Lanka, is the grandson of terrorist Omar Hafeez (Jackie Shroff), whom Bajirao Singham captures in the beginning of the film. he/she has blessed his/her sons with heaven. In such a situation, Zubair has only one aim, to take revenge for his/her family from Singham.

Now will Ram or Ravana win in this Kaliyugi Ramayana? Solving this puzzle is not a big deal. But the big thing is that big stars have gathered in the film to fight this war. The story starts from Kashmir, where Bajirao Singham is not only stopping terrorist activities but also reforming the youth. From here the story reaches Madurai, where Lady Singham enters Deepika Padukone, and then Satya in the form of Lakshman and Tiger Shroff appear in Rameshwaram. Later Simba and Veer Suryavanshi also come. In such a situation, while trying to do justice to all these tracks, Rohit Shetty has committed atrocities with his/her favorite Singham.

‘Singham Again’ Movie Review

Whenever Ajay Devgan comes on screen, he/she teaches the villain a lesson by giving slap after slap. It is fun, but such opportunities are less in the film. Now imagine, what fun it would be if Bajirao Singham did not say ‘Aata Majhi Satkali’ at least once in the movie.

Well, action is the life of the film. Sunil Rodrigues’s choreographed action sequences look attractive on screen, but Rohit Shetty’s action of blowing up vehicles, jumping from a chopper and the entry scene of the hero running in slow motion after a goon in the middle of a colorful fair or festival or turning a jeep to get down are repetitive. Are full. Now they do not feel thrill or freshness. A major weakness of the film is running the track of Ramleela along with the story, due to which the flow of the story breaks again and again.

Talking about acting, Ajay Devgan as Singham has no match. Akshay, Deepika, Tiger look good on screen but their roles are only extended cameos. Kareena is looking fine. Yes, Ranveer Singh steals the show as Simba. As long as he/she remains on screen, he/she entertains a lot.

Otherwise, the cinematography of the film is fantastic, but the editing should have been more tight. The background score is not the same as in earlier ‘Singham’. Salman Khan’s famous cameo in Chulbul Pandey avatar is also not that effective.

Why watch- If you are fond of action films, if you are a fan of ‘Singham franchise’ then you can watch this film adorned with an army of stars.
