Simi Singh, who has played 35 ODIs, is fighting death, his/her condition is critical, Cricket Board is helping


New Delhi. Simi Singh, who has played 35 ODIs and 53 T20 International matches, is fighting a battle for life. Simi Singh, who plays for Ireland, is in critical condition. The Irish Cricket Board has given this information. Simi Singh was last seen playing in the T20 World Cup 2022 in the international circuit.

Cricket Ireland has issued a statement about Simi Singh. It says, ‘We have received bad news from Simi Singh’s friend. Simi Singh is suffering from a serious illness and his/her condition is critical. We are with Simi and trying to help him/her.’ The Irish board said that ever since Simi came to Ireland, he/she has become a key player in the cricket team here. Be it the national team or club cricket, he/she has always contributed to victory. It is hoped that he/she will overcome this disease and emerge as a winner.

Born in Punjab, Simi Singh was schooled in India. Simi Singh played for Punjab in the Under-15 and Under-17 teams. Before leaving the country and going to Ireland, Simi had played with Virat Kohli, Yuzvendra Chahal, Siddharth Kaul. In an interview with Cricinfo, Simi says that he/she is good friends with Yuzvendra Chahal and Siddharth because of playing in Chandigarh. Virat Kohli used to play from Delhi and he/she has played age category matches against him/her.

37-year-old Simi Singh has been counted among the best all-rounders of Ireland. he/she took 39 wickets in 35 ODIs and also scored 593 runs. This includes a century and a half-century. Similarly, in T20 matches, he/she took 44 wickets in 53 matches and scored 296 runs. Simi Singh’s best score was 100 (not out) in ODIs and 57 (not out) in T20s.
