Shreyas’s team collapsed cheaply, Arshdeep scored more runs than the 7 batsmen of the team who lost 5 wickets for 34 runs


New Delhi. With the matches of Duleep Trophy, the new cricket season of India has started. These matches of Duleep Trophy are also being seen as the selection trials of the Test team. From cricket lovers to selectors, everyone is keeping a close eye on the players. On the first day of these matches, players like Akshar Patel, Mushir Khan left no stone unturned to capitalize on this opportunity. But Shreyas Iyer, Devdutt Padikkal failed miserably. India D, playing under the captaincy of Shreyas Iyer, collapsed for 164 runs.

In the Duleep Trophy, India D faced India C. In the match being played in Anantapur, India B batted first. Team India C, who won the toss and bowled first, gave shocks to India B from the beginning. They sent 5 batsmen of India B to the pavilion before scoring 35 runs. These included the wickets of captain Shreyas Iyer (9), Yash Dubey (10), Ricky Bhui (4) and Atharva (4). Devdutt Padikkal could not even open his/her account.

Akshar Patel took charge of the troubled team. he/she played an innings of 86 runs on 118 balls. Akshar Patel along with KS Bharat (13), Saransh Jain (13) and Arshdeep Singh (13) took the team to 164 runs. Arshdeep, known for his/her fast bowling, scored more runs than 7 batsmen of his/her team.

India C captain Rituraj Gaikwad used his/her bowlers well and kept changing bowling at the right time. The team also got the benefit of this. Vijaykumar Vishak took the maximum 3 wickets for India C. Anshul Kamboj and Himanshu Chauhan took 2-2 wickets. Manav Suthar and Hrithik Shaukeen got one wicket each.
