Former Team India captain Sunil Gavaskar says that Rohit should be fielded in the opening only. he/she has also given the reason for this. Famous commentator Sunil Gavaskar expressed his/her views on India’s playing eleven on Star Sports. During this he/she told where Rohit Sharma should bat. Gavaskar said, ‘Rohit opens. The square boundaries at Adelaide Oval are very small which will suit Rohit’s batting. KL Rahul should be sent to bat at number six in place of Dhruv Jurel. Shubman Gill should be fielded at number three in place of Devdutt Padikkal. This will be my playing eleven.
